Software that used to need a big team
Small businesses and teams deserve software that used to take a large engineering team. Agents make that affordable, and we prove it on our own product first.
Self-taught, and all in on AI from the start
I'm Ashley Melling. I taught myself computers, building my own PCs from the age of nine, and school and apprenticeships never quite fitted.
My first business, Shroomco, was an online mushroom company built with ChatGPT from the week it launched, and selling about fifteen pressure cookers to growers taught me how to sell.
When AI coding arrived I went all in, and built this platform from very little while becoming a parent.
My first thought was that this is going to democratise software. I still believe it.
To build world-changing agentic systems and software.
We make money by providing value, not by locking people in. Nobody wants to maintain software, so our agents do it.
Value, not lock-in
You keep what we build. We earn our place by being useful.
Software that maintains itself
Agents work the backlog every day, so fixes don't wait for someone to have time.
Built for people short on time
Small businesses are doing the right thing and have no time. Software should take work off them, not add to it.
MellingWebStudios Ltd
I incorporated MellingWebStudios Ltd on 21 May 2025, the moment our first client, Dave at Refresh, wanted to pay for the work. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16464935.
The first commit on this platform was on 20 November 2025. It started as asking AI how to build each effect, and became a platform that agents build and maintain.
